Food Acquisition

image of a spinosaurusThere is a lot of evidence showing that the Spinosaurus survived mostly on fish. For example, the shape of its skull and jaw. It ate mostly the kinds of dish that lived in its river system. This could have included giant coelacanths, sawfish, large lungfish, and sharks. There has also been evidence pointing towards the Spinosaurus preying on nonaquatic creatures. For example, there was a tooth from a type of Spinosaurus found in a bone of a Cretaceous pterosaur, which is a type of flying reptile.
